HUSBAND OF MAUD ELLEN JACKSON (BORN 12/1/1898), OF 2, LORNE TERRACE, ALEXANDRA STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).THEY HAD ONE DAUGHTER, EMILY MAUD. BORN ON 14/3/1916. HE WAS A BLUNDELL'S PAINT WORKER.
ENLISTED HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1/5TH EYR CYCLISTS. TRANSFERRED AS PRIVATE, 225306, 8TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. KILLED AT THE SOMME, ON 18/08/1916, AGED 18.
HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
HE WAS BROTHER TO ALBERT AND EDITH JACKSON.
