HE EMIGRATED TO CANADA IN 1907. WORKED AS A BOOK KEEPER AND MARRIED THERE. HIS WIDOW, CLARA LIVED IN BIGGAR, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA. THEY HAD TWO DAUGHTERS, NELLIE & LILY.
HE ENLISTED HULL. SERVED WITH THE ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY. DIED OF WOUNDS, AT GALLIPOLI, ON 18/08/1915, AGED 29.
HE IS BURIED AT PINK FARM CEMETERY, HELLES TURKEY. HIS GRAVE READS, HONORED & LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. LOST TO SIGHT HIS MEMORY DEAR
