BORN SKELTON, YORKSHIRE, 20TH APRIL 1897. SON OF JOHN BENNISON (1860-1925) AND HANNAH ELIZA BENNISON (1868-1941). HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND TWO SISTERS.

HE LIVED IN HULL. MARRIED ANNIE SOPHIA SCOTTOW (1892-1960), AT SCULCOATES REGISTRY OFFICE, HULL, ON 11TH FEB 1918, AGED 20.

HUSBAND OF ANNIE SOPHIA LUCOP, OF 120 CRAMPTON STREET, NEWINGTON BUTTS, LONDON & 4, BRUNANBURH TERRACE, FINSBURY STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS)

ENLISTED SKELTON, YORKSHIRE. SERVED WITH THE 2/5TH WEST RIDING REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, NEAR BAPAUME, ON 27/08/1918, AGED 21. BURIED IN FRANCE.

MARRIED ONLY SIX MONTH. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW, ANNIE. SHE REMARRIED AND BECAME MRS LUCOP. HIS ELDER BROTHER, HARRY ALSO SERVED IN THE WAR.
