ENLISTED LINCOLN. SERVED AS A CORPORAL WITH THE 7TH LINCOLNS.  DIED OF WOUNDS, 02/09/1918, AGED 25, AT THE 42ND CASUALTY CLEARING STATION, FRANCE.

BURIED AT AUBIGNY COMMUNAL CEMETERY, PAS DE CALAIS, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, JOSEPH.
