BORN HESSLE 1900. BAPTISED AT WESLEYAN METHODIST CHURCH, HESSLE, ON 15 MAR 1900.
SECOND SON OF GEORGE & ELIZABETH HARRISON, OF HESSLE. HIS FATHER WAS A WHOLESALE GROCER AND COMMERCIAL TRAVELLER. HIS ELDER BROTHER GEORGE WILLIAM HARRISON WAS A STYDENT OF ENGINEERING.
ERNEST WAS EDUCATED AT HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL & JOINED THE ROYAL AIR FORCE IN SEPTEMBER 1917. HE WAS 18 YEARS OLD WHEN REPORTED MISSING. CONFIRMED AS KILLED, ON 01/10/1918.
ERNEST IS LISTED ON HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL MEMORIAL. REPORTED MISSING (HULL DAILY MAIL, 05/10/1918).
