LIVED IN HULL ACCORDING TO ARMY RECORDS. SERVED AS A SERGEANT IN THE 2ND KINGS ROYAL RIFLE CORPS. ARRIVED IN FRANCE WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, ON 13/08/1914. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 19/09/1914, AGED 29.
