BORN HULL 1898. ONLY SON OF HERBERT BRADLEY (1873-1915) AND MAUD BRADLEY (1874-1963), OF 103 CLARENDON STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS) AND 5 , CAUGHEY STREET, HULL, (HULL DAILY MAIL ADDRESS). HIS FATHER WAS A CAB DRIVER. HIS ONLY SISTER, WAS ELIZABETH.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE 3RD GRENADIER GUARDS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 02/09/1918, AGED 20. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 09/09/1918. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, WHO MOVED TO 16, HARTOFT STREET, YORK (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).
HE IS BURIED AT FILLIEVRES BRITISH CEMETERY, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, "A MOTHER'S ONLY SON. AGE 20. TO MEMORIES EVER DEAR"
