HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 18/09/1915, AGED 25. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS SISTER, RHODA, DALTON. THIS IS THE ONLY CWGC RECORD. HIS NAME WAS LISTED ON HULL'S, CHILTERN STREET ROLL OF HONOUR. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 20/09/1915, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
