ENLISTED HULL. SERVED IN THE EAST YORKSHIRE RESERVES. DIED OF WOUNDS IN NEWCASTLE ON 27/08/1916, AGED 28. BURIED HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.
HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO ANNA RUSLIN. HIS MOTHER ALICE FROST TRIED TO CLAIM HIS WAR PENSION, BUT WAS REFUSED.
HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE ST MATTHEWS CHURCH, WWW1 MEMORIAL, BOULEVARD, HULL.
