HE ENLISTED IN SHEFFIELD. SERVED WITH 7TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED IN ACTION, ON 18/09/1918, AGED 19.
HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL.
