HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 7187, 12TH TR BATTALION. TRANSFERRED TO THE 2ND KOYLI. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 19/08/1918, AGED 19. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS STEP FATHER, FRED FISH.
