HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 6TH EAST YORKSHIRE PIONEERS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 17/09/1917, AGED 33.
BURIED AT BARD COTTAGE CEMETERY, BELGIUM. COMMEMORATED AT ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH MEMORIAL, NEWINGTON, HULL.
