Born Hull 25 Aug 1886. Son of Samuel Bedforth and Harriet Ann Taylor (1859-1886). He lived with his Aunt, Hannah Margison (1833-1919), of 19, St James Square, Lister Street, Hull, a retired School Mistress.
Married on 1 Oct 1914. Husband of Elixa Ann Mogg (born 16 July 1884 -1966), at 162, Walker Street, Hull (War Pension address). They had two children, John Arthur and Eliza Elizabeth Bedforth.
Served in the 1/4th East Yorkshire Regiment. Discharged on 22 Feb 1919. Died on 27 Aug 1922, aged 36.
