BORN HULL 15/04/1892. SON OF ROBERT FEATHERSTONE (1868-1949) & SARAH ANN WADDINGHAM (1870-1938), AT 35, MARMADUKE STREET, HULL (NAVAL ADDRESS). HE HAD TWO BROTHERS AND A SISTER. WAS A FARM WORKER AT SKYE BANK FARM, MANSFIELD, NOTTS.

SERVED IN THE 2ND ROYAL MARINE LIGHT INFANTRY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 20/08/1917, AGED 25. BURIED AT GAVRELLE CEMETERY, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS SISTER, MINETTA MAY WHITE (1895-1968), AT BONEHILL FARM, OLLERTON, NOTTS.
