HIS FATHER WAS A JOURNEYMAN FARMER. HE HAD FOUR SISTERS AND TWO BROTHERS.
HE WORKED IN TEXTILES, AS A BOBBIN CARRIER.
ENLISTED BRADFORD. SERVED AS A GUNNER, IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. DIED OF WOUNDS, 17/09/1917, AGED 21.
BURIED AT DUISANS BRITISH CEMETERY, FRANCE. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, JAMES.
