BORN HULL 1888. SON OF JOHN GEORGE & ELIZABETH AMELIA EVERS. HUSBAND OF ROSE HANNAH EVERS. WORKED FOR MESSRS, RAYNOR AND CROOK, TRINITY HOUSE LANE, FOR SEVEN AND HALF YEARS AND THEN AS A CANTEEN MANAGER, AT MR STOREY, GROCERS, ANALABY ROAD, HULL.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WTH THE 9TH WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 27/08/1917, AGED 29. HE IS COMMEMORATED AT THE TYNE COT CEMETERY, BELGIUM. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILYMAIL, ON 24/09/1917. *
