BORN HULL 1900. SON OF THOMAS & HANNAH SELLER, OF 26, WALKER STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION & CWGC ADDRESS).

HE SERVED WITH THE 2ND SHERWOOD FORESTERS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 18/09/1918, AGED 19.

BURIED AT TREFCON BRITISH CEMETERY, CAULAINCOURT, AISNE, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION READS, "FOLLOWING JESUS DAY BY DAY NOTHING CAN HARM ME IF HE LEADS THE WAY".

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE HULL GARDENER SOCIETY MEMORIAL, HULL MINSTER.
