HE MARRIED IN 1908, AT HULL. HIS WIFE MARY JANE McNULTY LIVED AT 4, DAVID'S TERRACE, SPYVEE STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). HE HAD ONE STEP SON, HARRY CROFT, BORN ON 20/04/1902.

SERVED AS A ROYAL NAVY, COOK. DISCHARGED WITH SICKNESS, ON 6/12/1916. HE DIED OF TUBERCULOSIS, ON 20/08/1917, AGED 49.

HE IS BURIED HULL WESTERN CEMETERY. HIS WIDOW WAS AWARDED A WEEKLY PENSION OF 20 SHILLINGS AND BORROWED £100 FROM THE SECRETARY OF THE HULL GUIDHALL.
