NO SOLDIERS DIED RECORDS. HIS NAME IS RECORDED AS THACKERAY ON THE BEVERLEY WAR MEMORIAL, MEMORIAL GARDENS.

Thank you to Ian Thackeray for correction send on 2025/04/03 at 12:59 pm - You have Arthur Thackeray as an entry, born 1892, died 17 Sept 1916, aged 24 however, that I believe is incorrect as Alfred Thackeray, born 1896, died 17 Sept 1916, aged 19 is the only record I have for my uncle who died in WW1 trigger.tigger@outlook.com
