Born Portsmouth, Hampshire, on 19 Mar 1890. Son of Charles Walls, of "The Albert Club", 19, Somerset Street, Hessle Road, Hull (War Pension address). He joined the Royal Navy, on 14 Jul 1908. Accidentally drowned on 8 Oct 1917. He fell into the Dunkirk basin after a night out drinking.
