Born 1894. Son of Richard Henry Denman (1872-1950) and Sarah Cunningham (1872-1939), of 1, Gordon Terrace, Buckingham Street, Hull (War pension address). Employed by Messrs, Fins and sons, Sawmill, Drypool.
He enlisted in Hull. Served in the 7th East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action on 12/11/1915, aged 21. He is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial.
His death was reported in the Hull Daily Mail, on 10/12/1915. *
His army effects were left to his mother Sarah and father, Richard Henry, who moved to Dearne Grove Barnsley (Pension Address).
