Walker

Victor Walker was killed serving with the Gloucestshire Regiment at Poziers, on the 4th April 1918. His brother Harold died of wounds two months later at Etaples on the 19th June 1918. They were both aged 24 years old. Their third brother, John Cyril Walker was killed at Cambrai in 1918 aged 19. These were the three sons of Ellen and John Edward Walker who lived at 343 Anlaby Road. Their names are commemorated in St Mathews Church, Boulevard and at Hymers College.
