These were Arthur Foster, 10<sup>th<\/sup> West Yorkshire Regiment killed on 14<sup>th<\/sup> April 1917 aged 27 years. His younger son George, 2\/8<sup>th<\/sup> Sherwood Forresters was killed on the 17<sup>th<\/sup> April 1917 aged 24 years. Arthur Edwin having seen both sons killed was to die himself on the 8<sup>th<\/sup> September 1918 serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arthur Edwin Foster lost two sons in the war.
