Samuel and Charlotte Pearson lost three sons. Private, Sam Pearson, died with the 1st East Yorkshires, on 16\/6\/17. He was 33 years old and left a widow at 44 Great Union Street, Hull. His Brother John died serving the Canadian Engineers and is buried at Halifax, Nova Scotia. L\/Cpl Charles Pearson, of the Dragoon Guards, their eldest child was killed on the 30\/8\/17.
