His best friend and Brother in Law, Cpl <strong>James Nix<\/strong> had been killed in action on the 21<sup>st<\/sup> May 1918, and another Brother in Law, <strong>Sgt, Charles John Nix, MM<\/strong>, had been killed on the 29<sup>th<\/sup> September 1918.&nbsp; They all came from the Drypool area of Hull.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Driver, Henry Binks, Royal Field Artillery who had served in France for three years, died of influenza on the day the war ended.
