HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE 2ND/7TH MANCHESTER REGIMENT. HE WAS KILLED, HOLDING THE LINE, ON 01/08/1917, IN NIEUPORT, BELGIUM.

HE WAS UNMARRIED AND HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, MARY.
